This little punkin’ is Dexter! A 9-week old Rottweiler / German Shepherd mix rescue. Go rescues! He’s the first puppy I’ve photographed this young, and it was a challenge! He’s a quick mover and not so much with the listening 
He wanted so badly for Gracie to play with him, but she turned on her “cranky old lady” mode and wasn’t having it. Nevertheless, Dexter made himself right at home chewing on her rawhide bone and laying on her bed.
March 16, 2009 - 9:21 am - I agree with Gay. The pictures are amazing! I come by here every few days for my fix as well. It's amazing that this is the same guy who will chew on my shoes WHILE I am wearing them.

February 20, 2009 - 12:37 pm - I love #3. I'm going to guess that less than a second before the shot that puppy was moving and less than a second after the shot he was moving. Thank goodness for shutter speeds that are faster than puppies!
