ode + ahnung

I thought it fitting that my first post in my new blog be these two beautiful rescue dogs. Big photos of two dogs with big hearts. Ode (pronounced: OH-day) is Ojibwe for “heart,” and this pup was brought down by Pet Haven  from Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue. To learn about Ode’s special ears, and her tragic start to life, click here. Ahnung, (ah-NUNG) also from Red Lake, is Ojibwe for “star.” Read about Ahnung’s story here.

I also had to get a photo of this gorgeous cat lying in the sun, before I left :)
