dogs of linden hills

My good friend, and wonderful artist, Jessie Marianiello of Stray Dog Arts recently did a gallery show of the dogs of Linden Hills. It’s a beautiful collection, featuring nearly 30 dogs from this particular neighborhood of Minneapolis. As a gift to her clients, we did a special photo shoot of the dogs alongside their paintings (plus a few of the dogs themselves!) A BIG thank you to Urbanimal on Lyndale for allowing us to use your wonderful, sky-lit space! Here’s just a sampling of some of the great images we got:

In addition to great, healthy pet food and toys, Urbanimal has a handful of resident cats! This guy was VERY interested in what we were doing, and not even the metal gates could keep him out!

Enormous, beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback…….. apparently they were bred to be lion hunters? Awesome.

This beautiful dog wasn’t part of the show, but happened to be there at the right time, so we just HAD to get him in……isn’t he GORGEOUS??

Whippet good…..

This is really cool…… Lou the Singing Dog! His dad plays music and Lou sings along…..it’s really amazing to watch!

This little peanut is “Trowsers” …….that sweater! That tongue!
