gabe + luis {brothers}

Luis and Gabe are lucky enough to live with 15 dogs! All Huskies, all retired sled dogs. And while this shoot was all about the boys, of course I had to sneak a couple of the dogs as well! Aren’t these cute kids? Gabe is the older brother.
I’m always so jealous of my photo friends...

phoebe {and family}

More about being behind…. I photographed Phoebe and her parents before I left for Key West {those photos coming soon, keep your pants on} and *finally* have been getting caught up enough to get them online! Phoebe is a wonderful little Westie who loves cheese and her “puppy” toy. Her parents have been married for...

animal ark {no-kill shelter}

I had the pleasure of visiting Animal Ark again yesterday to photograph some kitties (and a couple dogs!) who are up for adoption. I love going out there, it’s such a nice place and a wonderful organization. Here’s just a couple of the amazingly cute cats/kittens they have available. It’s getting to be “cat season”...

wiener-dog races {yep…wiener-dog races!}

I had the immense pleasure of attending the Dachshund Races in Wayzata this weekend. It was part of the annual James J. Hill Days and over 100 pups competed. I was only able to stay for the “hurdles” event, but there was also sprinting, couch-jumping, and competitions for costumes and tricks. It was seriously awesome.

There...

lulu + oliver + axel {ollu}

I have to start this by saying this was totally one of my favorite shoots ever. 3 dogs is such a fun challenge, and we got alot of great variety. Their mom is opening an upscale, indoor dog wash facility in St. Anthony Main called “Ollu” after her two black labs Lulu and Oliver. They’re...

gracie {nikkor 14-24 2.8}

I’ve had my eye on this lens for a while, and while I can’t get it anytime soon, I am currently having the pleasure of renting it for 2 weeks! It *just* arrived, and it felt like Christmas. This thing makes my Tamron 28-75 look like a kid’s toy. Of course, I had to...
